Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an IT service company, revealed its partnership with Rolls-Royce, a British firm that specializes in civil and defense aerospace technology. The company stated in a press release that the collaboration focuses on studying hydrogen fuel system technology to demonstrate its potential as a zero-carbon aviation fuel in the future.

 

TCS, with its skilled engineers, will assist Rolls-Royce in tackling three hurdles related to utilizing hydrogen in aviation. The company will assist the British multinational in areas such as system design, component design, supply chain support, and program management. The difficulties consist of fuel combustion, fuel delivery, and integrating fuel systems with an engine.

The alliance aligns with TCS's dedication to promoting sustainable change in various sectors. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has established goals to achieve carbon emissions neutrality by the year 2050.
